Happy Thanksgiving...

...or merry christmas???
:O)

we are going over to my mom's tonight for turkey dinner and I can't wait!
she made cabbage rolls yesterday too, and courtney has been over there since yesterday afternoon helping grandma get the food all ready! she loves to help cook so the invitation to help prepare Thanksgiving dinner with Grandma was most welcome!
we went to Mike's parents in Woodmore on saturday afternoon for a family dinner too and had a very nice visit, full of entertaining stories about Ken ( mike's dad ) and his "fishing" story was the best! thanks again Liz for a delicious supper and a fun visit!
well, i hope you all were able to spend some nice quality time with your families this weekend and not only enjoyed some yummy food, but took some time to reflect on all the things you are grateful for in your lives!!
i know i have much to be thankful for.
Happy Thanksgiving!!

yesterday's activities!

so, after almost 6 weeks of prolonging, courtney FINALLY had her
'friends birthday party' yesterday!
we took the kids to
VERTICAL ADVENTURES indoor climbing for a fun afternoon of
wall climbing and tiring out the kids!
heehee...
if you remember from back in february, we also had tyler's last birthday party here as well.
they kids loved it so much that we thought we'd go again!

...courtney and rachel...

...and kelsey...

...and amanda...

off they go!!!

...mr.carson...

...miss kelly...

...tyler and kelly climbing together...

carson was dertermined to climb this obstable wall and get to the top...and he finally succeeded!
( so did rachel )
:O)
...heehee, kelsey and her signature move today...
"hanging out"
when the kids got tired and needed a break, they would just dangle and 'hang around' from their ropes until they were ready to continue!!

we hope you all had a fun time with us today!
and one last "happy birthday courtney" until next year!
( are we done now? )

killin' time...

..while courtney was at her dance workshop this morning..
St. Norbert Farmer's Market.
first time there today.
LOVED it!!
here's some festive fall eye candy for you.

...if i were a bunny....
:O)

...this "cake" is made out of SOAP!

...backyard egg farming? no thanks, but cute!

meet "ODEN" the pug.
he will steal your sampled chicken fingers when he melts your heart with those eyes!

...live from the market...
she was playing Ode to Joy when i was walking by...very nice!

...and my last stop was to have a bite from one of the many food stands around the market.
i chose a "sausage on a bun" - whole wheat, home made - from the ladies from this colony.
YUM.
( and they were right about the touch of mustard! )
-6 corn on the cob
-1 banana bread loaf
-1 bag kettle corn popcorn
-1 bag of fresh dill ( for garden cucumber salad )
-1 garlic sausage ring
- 1 jar of creamed fresh honey
- 1 sausage on a bun
=
a fun morning at the Farmer's Market!!
now we are off to Vertical Adventures for courtney's very belated "friends" birthday party...
:O)
