...A Week in our Life...

Yep.
as promised, i have something scrappy to post for you...at long last!
but first and quickly...i want to say Happy Birthday again to my mom who celebrated her 67th
birthday yesterday!! We took her ( and my niece airiel ) out for supper to her choice restaurant and had a lovely dinner together at The Old Spaghetti Factory at The Forks last night!!
Love you lots Mom!!!!
:)

...in may, i was inspired by my sweet friend Tara, who was inspired by Ali Edwards, to attempt to document "a week in our life"....
( you can have a peek at tara's WEEK project on her blog here:
*Week in the life post, July 27, 2010*
i cannot tell you how much i LOVED this little project.
little?
well, remembering to ALWAYS have my camera on hand and take photos of "the little things" that are always going on in our daily lives was a bit of a challenge! and keeping up the daily journaling was even more of a challenge...but we really don't realize how much we do for our families to keep routines and activites running smoothly from a day to day basis....and when we get those lazy jammie days on occasion, they are most deserving and welcoming!!
so, here's what i came up with to create an album for our week's documentation!
hope you enjoy it!!
( i used Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists on the front and back covers, and also used Heidi Swapp and Tim Holtz masks on the front cover )
***YOU CAN CLICK ON ANY OF THE PHOTOS TO ENLARGE THE PICTURE FOR A CLOSER LOOK, OR IF YOU'D LIKE TO READ THE JOURNALING***

....AND...
here's a more recent layout i did as well...
( i LOVE hand stitching and using felt on my layouts....)

....and there's your promised scrappy post!!!
heeheehee!!!
Happy Sunday everyone....
:)

I am in awe!
with a darling family, a loving mum and extended family and friends, and wonderful connections with everyone. You are a special lady, Kimmy!
