...well hello!

OK.
a little confession here.
i am having edward withdrawl...c'mon breaking dawn producers!
~sigh~

...and in the REAL world...
tyler finally got his hair cut...
although we loved his Bieber / skater doo, it was time for a cut...
BEFORE:

AFTER:
( both photos coincidentally taken in the bowling alley - HA! )

...Halloween...
here's our traditional slew of 'gettin' ready' pics...
-courtney helping with the gutting...EWWWWW...
me caught in carving action...

tyler decided he wanted to try carving his own pumpkin this year...

...so with very little assistance, here's his finished product!
( maybe he should be a surgeon........??? )

...having a little pizza bun snack before going out...

6:04pm...the Malinowski's arrive and get their annual photo taken and off they went
with the Dad's!!!

our punkin's...

...courtney and tyler...done for another year...

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!

...the candy haul...

...Hmmmmm....
other news...
tyler's piano teacher invested in a grand piano!! so tyler is one very lucky student to have his teacher share her new toy with her students...it sounds lovely!!!
( playing a duet )
...Oliver tuned 8 months old already on Oct. 26...
( yep, we luv this bunny! )

and that's your quick little update...
if you are interested, i recently tried a new soup recipe and took pictures as i went along making it...so here's a DELICIOUS recipe for:
FARMER SAUSAGE BORSCHT!!!
Ingredients:
*Farmer Sausage - Pioneer brand was recommended, one large coil / or two lengths
*one cup chopped onion
*4 cups sliced carrots
*5 cups chopped cabbage
*fresh dill, as much as you'd like
*2 TBsp parsley flakes
*salt to taste ( I USED EPICURE'S RED GARLIC SANSEL INSTEAD )
*one large can tomato juice
*1 cup heavy cream ( I added a bit more )
*cut farmer sausage into small pieces

*boil farmer sausage in 6 cups of water

*once cooked ( about 30 mins on medium heat, covered ) add chopped onion, sliced carrots and chopped cabbage

*cook until tender ( about 45 mins )
*add seasonings, fresh dill and tomato juice

* simmer soup for about 30 mins

*add cream just before serving and heat for about 10 mins then serve and enjoy with fresh buns!!!!!!!

if you try this recipe, i'd love to hear how you enjoyed it ( or any modifications you add yourself! )
ENJOY!!!
:)

Awesome haircut.
Cute costumes.
Nice candy load.
Soup yummy if you sautee onions in pot and add sausage and after about 5 minutes add the water and veggies and everything else and simmer for half an hour.

Lightening is going for his surgery just before Christmas.
