okay. so here's some pictures for you for some upcoming classes being held in my home. the top pic is a sample of the altered clipboard class on monday, feb 12 ( 6-9pm ) and the other pic's are of the altered zippered CD case album on friday, feb 23 (6pm-midnite). there will be a few different patterned cases to pick from for your album!

so, my courtney lost yet ANOTHER tooth today...that's 4 teeth within 4 weeks...mike told her tonight that she looks like a hockey player!! She's now missing 3 on top and 2 on bottom...ugh. i'm thankful that there's no school class pictures planned right now...(LOL)

well, it's off to bed for me...too many late nights! it's 12:02am and last night was 1:30am (guess who slept in this morning?) don't want another missed half day of school tomorrow because "the dog ate my homework" OR this new one..."my mom slept in...honest teacher!"

At last...

well, i finally got a chance to take some pictures and post an entry for you...busy weekend! the layout is of tyler this past summer swimming at my friend Gayle's appartment pool...i had to bust out of those "winter blues" and scrap a warm, happy summer memory! i had fun with an idea i saw in a magazine (not sure which one...) and was creative using paint...i dabbed an end of a TOILET PAPER ROLL into paint and had fun all over the layout! don't be afraid to paint right over your PHOTOS too...it really adds character and a playful effect to your layout! ( bazzill cardstock, heidi swapp paint & rub on alpha, offray ribbon, sharpie pen ).

AND....here's your sneak peak at the altered valentines chocolate box of scrappin' goodies....this will be the exciting final door prize at my February 16 hall crop!! want to win it??? come out and play!!! (heehee)

i had a beginners basics class tonight and had 4 new ladies come, and then leave completely addicted!! two of them signed up and registered for the Scrapaganza 2 in april as well....if you need more info, give me a call or email! it's gonna be a blast...tons of prizes too!!!

courtney had a good night of swimming tonight....i think she's a little tired from this weekend though...she had her first Intermediate dance competition on saturday, had a great day with lots of hard work ( and won 5 new medals---good for you my babe) and then was happy to go out for supper that night to the Old Spaghetti Factory and THEN have a sleepover at GRANDMA'S house....lucky bum! ...sound asleep now though...

and i'm off to bed too....brain is drained, i think...

Squirt

and these pic's are from christmas morning after discovering that Santa had brought them a new baby hamster!! he's a dwarf hamster from the Caribbean! (no, not a pirate dwarf...)
the kids named him Squirt and he's the cutest little furball...he's very docile and the kids enjoy playing with him (tyler likes to chase him around when he's in his little red exercise ball) i'm soooooo glad Santa brought this little guy because they have finally stopped bugging us for a puppy....for now! i just thought i'd share these pic's with you because Squirt is a daily part of our family now...however long that will be!!!


i will be taking a pic of the altered valentine chocolate box filled with scrappin goodies for my next hall crop (feb 16 6pm-midnite) when i come home from work tonight...i'll post a peak of it tomorrow for you!

OOHHHHH, i had an afterthought now that i KNOW how to put pictures i have scanned in files too...

this is my winning layout that most of you have heard about from my Smalltown Scrappers Getaway i went to this past october with my mom (scrapbooking overload...bank account emptyload...Bronwen is the devil!!) i won in the artistic design category and i was told how to get it published in the canadian scrapbookers magazine, but nothing happened there for me....so....for those of you who haven't seen it yet, here you go! i have been asked by The Scrapyard in Stonewall, Mb to teach a class and operate my store at their SCRAPAGANZA 2 on april 14!!!

i cannot tell you how thrilled i am...I'M THRILLED!!!
so, we are looking to bring out about 100 scrap-crazed scrap-a-holic women to this exciting function...here's your basic info:

saturday, april 14, 2007
9am - 7pm
cost is $50 OR if you register before feb 14, you pay only $45
registration includes goodie bag, make-n-takes, classes, morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack, dinner (lasagna, garlic bread, caesar salad and desert) and water bottles all day...you won't be hungry!
there will be several venues there operating all day, The Scrapyard (small store on site ) Creative Memories, Stampin Up, and new this year.....The Scrappin Studio...(squeal!)
the Scrapyard will also have a free shuttle available to take you into town (about 5 mins) to the main store for your "shopping convenience" and back to the hall again. location of function is New Life Church, Hwy #67, 1 mile east of Stonewall.

Look at me in the world of BLOGGING

well. i did it. i've created a blog. here i will be writing my thoughts, sharing my family adventures and of course, sharing my scrapbooking world with my friends and family and now my new "web pals" i collect on my way! i am hoping to share many ideas, layouts and fun projects for my business, the scrappin studio, while expressing myself at the same time.. this is my first post and i am trying it out now to see if it works...wish me luck. if you get to read this, then i guess i did okay...blog-illiterate and all!

gotta go make supper for my hungry family...looks like tyler's lucky day, rice-a-roni on the side!!!
